Man loses fingers in saw incident

A man was flown to Waikato Hospital today after losing two fingers while operating an electric saw in Tauranga.

A Tauranga-based TrustPower TECT rescue helicopter spokesman said the 35-year-old was to undergo emergency surgery to have the fingers reattached.
