The right index finger of a man was severed in an accident at a Taupo timber yard about noon today.
The 39-year-old-Taupo man was sawing timber when the accident happened.
He was treated by St John paramedics and taken to Taupo Hospital, before the Taupo-based Lion Foundation rescue
