A 47-year-old man has lost a finger and another has chest and head injuries after a crash in Kawerau this morning.
A BayTrust Rescue Helicopter rushed to the crash shortly before 8am to find a 33-year-old local man with head and chest injuries.
Paramedics stabilised him and he was flown
to Rotorua Hospital.
Another man was flown to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment after losing a finger in the crash.
