A man has died after the motorbike he was driving collided with a car south of Hastings this afternoon.
Emergency Services were called to the crash on Raukawa Road just after 3pm.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene, Sergeant Peter Theobald said.
The occupants of the car were not injured.
It was not yet known what caused the crash and the police serious crash unit were examining the scene.
