The man killed in yesterday's helicopter crash in the Lindis Pass area has been named.
He was was Liam Edwards, aged 32 years, of Otautau in Southland.
The other occupant of the helicopter, 51-year-old Murray Sarginson, is currently in a serious condition in Dunedin Hospital.
The Civil Aviation Authority are currently en-route to the area.
