A Christchurch man who died when his farm motorbike hit irrigation equipment has been named by police.
Kenneth William Millar, 27, was riding alongside a friend on a West Melton farm property on West Coast Road (SH73) on Saturday.
Police and ambulance services were contacted after the accident at around 5.10pm.
Mr Millar died at the scene.
