Man killed by falling glass

A worker is dead after being hit by falling glass at a factory near Greymouth last night.

It is understood that the 56-year-old man was helping to load the glass on to a forklift truck when the accident happened.

The victim has not yet been named.

Police and the Department of Labour are investigating.
