A man kicked by a cow has been airlifted to hospital with back injuries.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter crew picked up the 67-year-old man from a farm northeast of Waipukurau, Hawkes Bay about 11.30am today.
He was taken to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital for further treatment.
