A Christchurch man who repeatedly threatened to kill the prime minister has been sentenced to four months imprisonment.
Oxford farmer All Means All was sentenced on six counts of threatening to kill, after posting letters to John Key's office as well as other parliamentary offices in 2012.
In the letters the 57 year old wrote "alls going to kill you" and "alls going to blow you to kingdom come".
All Means All, who represented himself, told the court he would refuse all food and water if sent to prison, in protest for what he says wasn't a fair trial.
Judge Jane Farish told All it was his choice to martyr himself but she suspected psychiatric services would intervene.
