KEY POINTS:
A man was today jailed for life with a minimum non-parole period of 10 years for killing his partner 18 months ago.
Stephen Rukuata, aged 25, was found guilty of murdering Bianca Nicole Stewart, 20, after a domestic row at their Papatoetoe, South Auckland, home.
In the High Court at Auckland, Rukuata apologised to his partner's family and his own two young daughters who were present.
Justice Mark Cooper said he accepted Rukuata's remorse over the killing.
