KEY POINTS:
A man has been jailed for 3-1/2 years for supplying pornographic material of young children being raped.
Jun Jun Zhu, 25, admitted four charges of knowingly supplying objectionable material and 10 charges of knowingly possessing objectionable material.
The Chinese national will be deported after serving the sentence.
In Auckland District Court today, Judge Graham Hubble said the movies of sexual attacks on babies were some of the worst made.
"It is difficult to see how any film could be much more objectionable than that," he told Zhu.
He gave Zhu credit for an early guilty plea and the fact that he would be deported when he had served his sentence.
Zhu appeared confused when he left the court to be taken to the cells and several times looked back at supporters in court.
He was reluctant to leave the court until he was escorted out by security staff.
