A man has been injured in a quad bike crash on farmland in Nelson this afternoon.
The man, aged in his 60s, sustained lower back and abdomen injuries when the quad bike rolled on farmland near Tapawera, southwest of Nelson, before 3.30pm.
He was treated at the scene by an intensive care paramedic from the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.
He was then airlifted to Nelson Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
