A 25-year-old man is fighting for his life after a motorcycle crash in Waipukurau, in Central Hawke's Bay.
The man was critically injured after his motorcycle crashed outside The Terrace School in Porangahau Rd about 7.55pm.
St John Heretaunga territory manager Brendon Hutchison said the man was taken by ambulance to Waipukurau Aerodrome before being airlifted by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
