A forestry worker has been hurt in an accident near Waverley this morning.
He has been taken to Wellington Hospital by the Taranaki Community Rescue Helicopter with a St John intensive care paramedic on board.
The accident happened at 10.02am near the corner of Okahutiria Road and Karahaki Road.
A St John spokesman said he couldn't give details of the injuries or the man's condition.
