A man who fell 30 metres from a tree in Otaki has been airlifted to Wellington Hospital with serious injuries this evening.
The man, in his early 20s, suffered head injuries after the fall at about 5pm.
He was stabilised by St John paramedics before being flown to hospital by the Palmerston North-based Philips Search and Rescue Trust helicopter.
