A man was assaulted by a group of youths in West Auckland this afternoon.
The police were called to Arawa St, New Lynn at 1.20pm a spokeswoman said.
The man was assaulted in an incident involving four other people - male teenagers.
Ambulance officers treated the man's minor injuries at the scene.
The police were at the scene investigating the assault, the spokeswoman said.
