KEY POINTS:
A man has been arrested after a stabbing in the Hamilton suburb of Bader early this morning.
The 35-year-old local has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault, after a 21-year-old was stabbed in the stomach.
Police said the victim was punched at an address, then stabbed by the same person as he walked past later.
He was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
