A 26-year-old man is in custody after an alleged shooting at a Whakatane berry farm yesterday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Standen said a Whakatane man is helping police with inquiries into two robberies and the shooting at Julian's Berry Farm and Cafe on Hunua Rd.
"Several people are yet to be spoken to," Standen said.
No one else is being sought in connection to yesterday's attempted robbery.
