A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after crashing his car into a tree in Palmerston North this morning.
The accident happened on Ruahine Street just after 8am.
A police spokeswoman confirmed emergency services were at the scene.
She said no-one else was in the car
with the man at the time of the crash.
