A man who allegedly shot someone at a Harley-Davidson store this afternoon is being sought by police.
Detective Inspector Tofilau Faa Vaaelua said police were called to the Mt Wellington store at around 1.50pm following reports of a shooting.
The alleged shooter fled the area immediately, and police were now attempting to find him.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said one person was in a critical condition and had been taken to Auckland City Hospital where they were undergoing surgery.
TVNZ and Stuff reported that the victim was Josh Masters, the president of the Killer Beez gang who was released from prison last year after serving 10 years on drugs charges.
