A 19-year-old man is being flown to Auckland Hospital after being hit by a car in Parakai, north-west Auckland.
St John Ambulance services were called to the scene at Springs Rd in Parakai at 9.46pm with reports that a car had hit a pedestrian.
A Westpac Rescue helicopter was set
to fly the man to hospital around 11pm.
He was in a critical condition, a St John spokesperson said.
