The man charged with the attempted murder of a police officer in Hamilton has made a brief appearance in court today.
The 31-year-old man has continued name suppression and has been remanded in custody until June 7 for further psychiatric assessment.
The man was charged over the stabbing of Acting Sergeant Andrew Grice, who responded to a domestic incident at the the man's Enderley home a fortnight ago.
