KEY POINTS:
A driver is to appear in court after allegedly pulling out a knife on another driver in Christchurch this morning.
Police communications inspector John Doherty said the incident occurred after one car cut off another in Papanui about 8am.
Police intercepted a driver after a short pursuit.
Mr Doherty said a man would appear Christchurch District Court facing charges relating to threatening behaviour and possession of a knife.
