A 37-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in North Shore District Court today following a four-hour stand-off with police on Friday night.
The man, who has interim name suppression, was arrested early on Saturday in a North Shore supermarket carpark armed with an allegedly loaded shotgun.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
The man has been charged with breaching a protection order involving a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was remanded to reappear on July 28.
