An elderly man has been seriously injured after his mobility scooter and a truck collided in Mosgiel today.
The crash happened at the intersection of Bush and Gordon roads about 2.50pm, Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said.
The man was taken to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition.
Mosgiel motorist were asked to avoid the intersection during the afternoon while police conducted a scene examination, Mr Benn said.
