A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after falling through a roof at the Taranaki Aviation Transport and Technology Museum.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the museum, about 10 kilometres southeast of New Plymouth, at 9.20am.
They were told the man had fallen through the roof, but she did not know the circumstances.
Fairfax reported the man was a 68-year-old museum volunteer and was understood to be fixing the roof when the incident occurred.
He was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital with a possible broken leg, the spokeswoman said.
