A 45-year-old is in Wellington Hospital in a serious condition after his car rolled down a bank earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the suburb of Mount Cook after the man mistook a turn and rolled from Bidwill Street to Anderson Terrace, about 30m below.
Police central communications shift commander Mark Oliver says they remain at the scene with ambulance and fire officers.
Bidwill Street has been closed.
