A man checked into a medical centre with shotgun wounds shortly after an Armed Offenders Squad callout to a house on Auckland's North Shore this morning.
The AOS cordoned off the property in Glenfield Rd in suburban Glenfield after neighbours reported hearing three gun shots around 11.15am.
Police spokesman Kevin Loughlin said tonight a man in his twenties checked himself into a Waitakere medical centre with non-life threatening shotgun injuries about midday.
Police were speaking with the occupants of two neighbouring Glenfield Rd houses as well as the driver and passenger of a car.
No arrests had been made.
Police thanked the local residents for their valuable assistance and cooperation.
