A New Plymouth fraudster who signed a deal with a 14-year-old girl to have his child went on to have a drunken threesome with the teen and his partner.
Darren Albert Jolly, 39, pleaded guilty in the New Plymouth District Court to 36 charges ranging from having sex with a 14-year-old Palmerston North girl to doing an indecent act with a 15-year-old Stratford girl.
He also faces a raft of fraud and dishonesty charges when he is sentenced next month.
Police prosecutor Malcolm Greig said on September 21 this year Jolly went to an associate's Palmerston North address and secretly arranged for the woman's 14-year-old daughter to stay with him and his partner in Paraparaumu.
Several days later, Jolly and his partner asked the girl to have a baby for them.
The girl signed an agreement whereby she would have sex with Jolly and get paid $2500 when the baby was born.
That night, when they were drunk, Jolly's partner and the girl took a bath together before having a sexual threesome.
Jolly had sex with the girl and again the following night. The girl refused to have sex with him a third time because she wanted to wait to see if she was pregnant.
When the girl returned home she told her mother what had happened.
The two charges relating to the 15-year-old happened last year when Jolly and his partner befriended the teen and over four months performed sexual acts with her.
