Two people have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in Tauranga this morning.
Police were called to a Parkvale property just after 5am where they found a man with a serious chest wound.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, police said in a statement this evening.
A second man, aged 26, has been charged with assault with a weapon.
Both will appear in Tauranga District Court on January 9.
