KEY POINTS:
Police have cordoned off part of a Matamata road following the discovery of a body.
Inspector Matt Sillars said the man's body was found lying on Waharoa Rd at about 9.30pm last night.
He said police had not established how the man died or who he was, but it was possible he was struck by a vehicle.
