The body of a man has been found in a West Auckland stream this afternoon.
The body was spotted by members of the public in the Oratia Stream in Henderson at about 12.15pm.
Police and a search and rescue team searched the stream and located the man's body at 3pm near Edsel Street.
The body has been removed from the stream and taken to Auckland Hospital Mortuary.
Police are still confirming the man's identity and are now trying to establish the cause of death.
