Save A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Waikato overnight.
The man was hit by the car on Lorne Street in Morrinsville about 1.30am, Inspector Steve Kose from northern police communications said.
"As a result he has sustained critical, life threatening injuries and is
at Waikato Hospital."
The weather at the time was wet and road lighting was poor, Mr Kose said.
The Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
