Man falls 10m from tree

A 29-year-old man is in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit after a fall while pruning trees at the weekend.

The man received serious head injuries when he fell 10m to the ground after being struck by a branch he had cut.

Hospital spokeswoman Mary Anne Gill said he was in a stable condition in the ICU this morning.
