A linesman working on electrical lines in Southland was fatally electrocuted this morning.
Stuart Kenning, 48, of Mossburn, Southland was one of two linesmen repairing a power line fault on a farm when the incident occurred.
St John's Ambulance and police attended the scene along with health and safety inspectors from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. The death has been referred to the coroner.
