A man will be appearing in court in relation to the death of a Masterton man this morning.
Police spokeswoman Elizabeth Young said the charges were still being finalised.
The body of a man was found at a Masterton house early today.
Officers were called to a domestic incident at the Lansdowne property just before 3am, said Detective Sergeant William van Woerkom, of Masterton CIB.
They found the man's body at the address and paramedics were unable to revive him.
Mr van Woerkom said police were talking to a local man about the death.
Ms Young said a forensic examination was being carried out at the house where two men were flatting together.
She said police were not looking for anyone else in relation to the death.
