A "highly distressed" man who had an hour long stand-off with police has been found dead in a vehicle.
Police were called to Guys Rd in Yaldhurst around 7am and attempted to negotiate with the man.
"Police attempted to negotiate with the man for over an hour, however, they later located him deceased in the vehicle," Superintendent Lane Todd said.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the death and the case will be referred to the coroner.
