A 30-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash in Dannevirke overnight.
The single vehicle crash happened about 12.45am in Grant Street, police said.
The rider, from Dannevirke, was taken in a serious condition to Palmerston North Hospital, but later died.
The Serious Crash Unit was investigating the crash, police said.
