A man has died following a motorcycle accident in Whanganui yesterday.
Police said emergency services were called to the scene of the motorcycle accident at Castlecliff Beach, Whanganui, about 5pm yesterday.
A 29-year-old man suffered from serious injuries as a result of the accident and died at the scene. The man's name would not be released until family members were notified.
Police said the Serious Crash Unit would investigate the cause of the accident.
