A 40-year-old Southland man has died after being thrown from a farm vehicle.
The man was driving a truck and spreading fertiliser on a steep bank on a Josephville farm when the vehicle rolled yesterday afternoon.
He was thrown from the cab and died at the scene.
The matter has been referred to the coroner, and police and Occupational Safety and Health are investigating.
