The man accused of punching an All Black's heavily pregnant wife in the face has denied the offending.
Robert Rata Moka, 45, appeared in Manukau District Court today facing four charges, including assaulting Rachelle Faumuina, wife of star prop Charlie.
Moka's 18-year-old daughter Aroha Kahui - who faces charges ofdriving while forbidden and threatening the complainant with intent to frighten - also pleaded not guilty.
The alleged road-rage incident took place in Mangere on October 22.
It is understood there was an initial flashpoint between the trio before Mrs Faumuina drove away in her husband's All Blacks Ford Kuga, pursued by the father and daughter.
"But there only seems to be justice for certain people in this country. If you're related to the All Blacks, you can do anything."
The rugby lover said his appreciation of Faumuina as a player made the situation all the more regrettable.
The altercation meant the burly forward's departure for the United States on the All Blacks tour was delayed by a day but he started in two of their three games while overseas.
His wife gave birth to the couple's second child while he was overseas.
