Police called to an address in Three Kings at 3am to find injured man who died despite attempts to save him. / NZN
A man is dead after he was suspected to have been assaulted at a party in Auckland's Three Kings early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the address on Haughey Ave about 3am after reports of a noisy party with possible fighting at an address, police said in astatement.
"When police arrived people had begun to disperse, however, someone has asked police for assistance with an injured person at the address, who was given CPR," the statement said.
"This has been unsuccessful and the man has passed away at the address."
A police spokeswoman said it was suspected that the man was assaulted.
