A 55-year-old man was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries after being crushed by the bus he was working under.
A Fire Service spokesman said firefighters from Lookout Point and Mosgiel were called to a Saddle Hill Rd address about 5.40pm yesterday after a report of a man trapped under a bus.
It appeared he was working underneath a house bus when a hydraulic jack failed, pinning him under the bus.
It took about 30 minutes to remove him, the spokesman said.
A St John spokesman said he was taken to hospital with serious crush injuries.
