A man has been injured after he was crushed between two cars in Takapuna on Auckland's North Shore.
Police were called to the Promenade between Hurstmere Rd and Killarney St at 10.16am.
"A 34-year old man has parked his vehicle and then seen it rolling back towards a vehicle that was parked directly behind it," said Senior Constable Andrew Keith.
"The man has attempted to get his car to stop it hitting the other vehicle and has become trapped between both vehicles."
The man sustained moderate injuries as a result and has been taken to Auckland Hospital.
