KEY POINTS:
A Tokoroa man charged this week with murder of a toddler in June last year has had name suppression lifted.
Rikki Hotham, 30, appeared in Tokoroa District Court this week after a nine-month investigation into the death of 22-month-old Tyla-Maree Darryl Flynn.
Hotham was granted a 48-hour interim name suppression which lapsed today. No application for continued name suppression was made.
The toddler's death on June 29 was a result of severe burns to her head and upper body, believed to have been caused by hot water.
Hotham was remanded in custody to reappear on April 21 in Rotorua District Court.
