KEY POINTS:
A 46-year-old man has been charged with stabbing another man in Palmerston North.
The man was arrested Saturday night in connection with the stabbing of a 43-year-old "associate" in the suburb of Highbury on January 28.
The victim was stabbed four times in the head and upper torso, Detective Sergeant David Clifford said.
Three of the wounds were superficial but the fourth required surgery. He remained in hospital in a comfortable condition.
The accused man will appear in Palmerston North District Court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
