A man has been charged with murder two years after a woman's death, believed at the time to have been suicide.
Shanal Sajesh Kumar, 28, was last year charged with aiding and abetting suicide after the death of 42-year-old Dipti Patel in New Plymouth on April 7, 2009, Taranaki Daily News reported.
Kumar was arrested and charged with murder on Sunday and is to appear in North Shore District Court on August 16.
