Turangi man Donovan Michael Duff, charged with murdering his baby daughter, is to go on trial in June next year.
Duff, 40, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he earlier appeared in the High Court at Rotorua.
When he appeared today before Justice Simon Moore, Crown solicitor Amanda Gordon confirmed the June 11 trial date, saying it would take at least two weeks.
Justice Moore remanded Duff in custody.
The infant at the centre of the charge was 9 months old when she died in 2016.
