Man charged with forgery

Police allegedly interrupted a man manufacturing counterfeit New Zealand bank notes at his Mt Maunganui home this week.

When Police searched Andrew Chettle's Taupo Ave home they found what they believe to be forged $20, $50 and $100 notes in varying stages of production.

Chettle was charged with forgery.
