Police have charged a 42-year-old male with the murder of Keith Kahi and he will appear in Counties Manukau District Court this afternoon.
Glen Michael MacDonald, aged 42, had been missing since Sunday night when Keith Kahi, 44, was shot multiple times outside Mr MacDonald's house in Tullis Place, Burswood, near Botany Downs.
Police said Mr MacDonald was found around 8.30am today in Manukau and he was now talking to investigators.
Earlier, Detective Inspector Mark Gutry said police had found Mr MacDonald's 1993 black Isuzu Bighorn in a central Auckland carpark yesterday afternoon.
Police would still like to hear from anyone who was in the Burswood area on Sunday 4th July between 7.00pm and 8.00pm.
